1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Audionix ("the app"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. What Audionix is
Audionix is a local media player. It organizes and plays audio files that already exist on your device, presents internet radio streams from third-party stations, and looks up publicly-available metadata and cover art for your own reference. Audionix does not host, distribute, or provide any music or audio content itself.
3. Your content
You're responsible for the audio files you add to your library and for having the right to possess and play them. Audionix does not review, moderate, or take ownership of any file on your device.
4. Third-party content
- Internet radio. Stations listed in the Radio tab are operated by independent, third-party broadcasters and indexed via the public Radio Browser directory. Audionix has no control over their availability, content, or streaming quality, and is not responsible for anything broadcast on them.
- Metadata & artwork. Cover art and track/album metadata fetched via "Fetch Metadata" or online lookup come from the iTunes Search API and remain the property of their respective rights holders. This lookup is provided purely for your own organizational convenience.
5. License
Subject to these terms, you're granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Audionix on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Audionix to infringe anyone's copyright, attempt to disrupt the third-party services it connects to (iTunes Search, Radio Browser, individual radio streams), or reverse-engineer the app beyond what's permitted by applicable law.
7. Disclaimer of warranty
Audionix is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular internet radio station or metadata lookup will always be available.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Audionix and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or interruption of third-party services the app connects to.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated as the app evolves. Continued use of Audionix after a change means you accept the updated terms.
